EB: When I refer to healing, I'm talking about healing mind, body and soul. So often when we have a physical problem going on and especially an on-going problem, there is an emotional root to the problem. Western medicine doesn‚t go deeper than the body but in order to truly heal ourselves we have to think of ourselves as a soul rather than a body and we have to heal our soul. If our soul has unresolved emotional pain from other lifetimes, we bring that into our next life with the intention of getting it healed. Since there are no "accidents" everything is geared towards helping us heal. When we look at the so called opportunities in life set up for us as a way to help us heal, we welcome all experiences, good and bad. There's another answer to this question and that is, when I refer to healing, or speak of being a spiritual healer or tell someone to get a healing, that means laying on hands healing which is what Jesus taught us how to do. SG: DO POSITIVE THOUGHTS EFFECT OUR HEALTH/HEALING ABILITIES? EB: Yes, positive thoughts certainly affect our healing process in a positive way, but more than that is our attitude/faith about healing. Do we believe we deserve healing? Do we believe God would heal US? They may seem like two simple questions, but you'd be surprised at the impact they really have when it really comes down to people asking for healing. Many don't feel worthy. SG: DO ACTS OF KINDNESS AND LOVE EFFECT OUR HEALTH? EB: You bet your bippy they do, but sometimes people try to cover up their emotional pain or their need for healing by being "do-gooders". I can usually tell by the colors in their aura. They have an off color green which indicates they need healing themselves but they are distracting themselves by being busy ministering to others. Like it says in the Bible, "love they neighbor as thy self". We need to clean up in the mess in our own backyard in order to truly be effective because people can feel if our love is out of our own need for healing. And just like with all the other questions, there's another answer for this as well. Without a doubt, acts of kindness and love towards others is one of the major ways this planet is going to heal so YES, DEFINITELY. SG: HOW CAN ONE BEGIN TO HEAL THEMSELVES? EB: Oh my. Now this one could take awhile. First you need to take an inventory of what's wrong. If a person could emotionally step outside of themselves and look at themselves as a business rather than a person, they might get some great insights as to what needs healing. What memories are still haunting them? Look at their relationship with each member of their family of origin and write down their feelings about that person. That often gives them good clues as to what needs healing. Is their childhood still causing them pain? And the big question, what are they resisting the most? That's usually the most important area that needs healing ie; their sexuality, love relationships, family of origin memories. If people would realize that their family was chosen for them as a set up for eventual healing, we would look at our families in a whole different light. SG: CAN YOU HEAL SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO BE HEALED? EB: That‚s a good question as well. People can send out some pretty good blocks to receiving healing, so I've learned not to channel healing to people that don‚t want it. They need to be open to receive it. SG: WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO RELEASE NEGATIVE FEELINGS SUCH AS ANGER, SADNESS, AND HURT? EB: It's important to release negative emotions because they can sit in the body and turn into physical problems. Negative emotions (anger, rage, grief, deep sadness, hatred, revenge, etc.) have a gray/black energy to them. It‚s cold and not life giving energy. That can draw energy on the body and eventually cause physical problems so it‚s good to get them out of the body. |
